This Week’s Market Outlook… šŸ“Š

This Week’s Earnings Calendar

The headline report this week is Tesla, but many other companies are also reporting, including Verizon, Procter & Gamble, and Chipotle. Together, these names will give us a strong read on the consumer.

The report I’m most interested in is Tesla. Elon Musk made a massive push into politics over the past year. When Donald Trump won the election in November, this seemed like a positive development. However, in the months since, Tesla’s stock has been cut in half, and the company is facing serious turmoil. We’ll see if this earnings report offers any glimmer of hope.

I’m also keeping an eye on Chipotle and P&G. Both companies offer great insights into consumer trends, and it’ll be interesting to see whether either of them signals that the expected consumer cooldown has begun.

On the economic front, this week’s focus is on the services and manufacturing PMI data, both of which provide a window into the broader economy. I’m especially curious to see how the manufacturing data might begin to shift following the introduction of tariffs earlier this month.

I’m also expecting the first trade deal to be announced sometime this week. It’s been over a week since the ā€œreciprocalā€ tariff pause, and signs over the weekend suggest a deal is on the horizon. The first agreement will likely be with Japan, setting a precedent for deals to come.

As always, stay positive, get invested, and be optimistic!

Have a wonderful week!!
