This Week’s Market Forecast… 📊
This week is expected to be very quiet in the markets, with a shortened trading schedule due to the Christmas holiday on Wednesday. Markets will be closed all day Wednesday and will observe an early closure at 1 PM on Tuesday for Christmas Eve.
Earnings season has largely wrapped up, so no major reports are expected this week. The next round of earnings, covering Q4’s “holiday season,” kicks off in mid-January, with major banks starting to report on January 15th.
There are, however, a few key economic updates to watch for. On Monday, the Conference Board will release its Consumer Confidence Index for December. Then on Thursday, the weekly jobless claims report will provide the latest snapshot of the labor market.
With many taking time off for the holidays, market-moving news is likely to be minimal. While unexpected events can always arise, we recommend using this time to relax and enjoy quality moments with family and friends.
As always, stay positive, get invested, and be optimistic. Happy Holidays :)

Netflix is betting big this Christmas, as it will be the first time ever that they will host the Christmas day football games. They also will have a halftime show with Beyonce to help attract more viewers.
