This Week’s Market Forecast… 📊

Earnings season continues in full force this week with over 100 companies reporting. Over 15% of the companies within the S&P 500 will report this week. Last week most of the financial stocks reported earnings and started earnings season on a strong note.

All of the big bank stocks reported strong earnings and helped move the market in a positive direction. As we wrote on Friday, the consumer is still resilient, and this week will be telling if that narrative is true.

There are multiple important economic data points to keep an eye out for this week as well as many speeches made by Fed Governors. Economic data starts off on Wednesday when we get Existing Home Sales data.

Thursday has the Initial Jobless Claims data and New Home Sales Data. The week ends with September Durable Goods Orders and the Michigan Consumer Sentiment report.

As earnings reports and economic data come in, this week will be pivotal in gauging whether the consumer’s resilience remains strong and how the broader market is evolving. Stay tuned to the important data points as they provide fresh insights into the unfolding economic narrative.

$Tesla ($TSLA) reports earnings Wednesday after the close. Analysts are forecasting EPS at $0.58 for the recent quarter. This earnings report follows the underwhelming Robotaxi event that they held on October 10th.
