This Week’s Market Forecast… 📊

Earnings season is in full swing this week, with Google, Amazon, Uber, and Palantir all set to report. So far, earnings season has been very strong, with beats across the board.

I expect to see more earnings beats this week, and it will be interesting to assess the state of the consumer through Uber and Amazon's results. Two other earnings reports I’m closely watching in relation to consumer trends are Eli Lilly and Novo Nordisk, the creators of GLP-1s.

This will also be an eventful week for economic data. We start with ISM Manufacturing, followed by ISM Services on Wednesday. The most important release will come on Friday with the Jobs report.

Over the weekend, President Donald Trump announced tariffs on Canada, Mexico, and China. This has sparked concerns in the market, with pre-market trading showing notable declines. Investors are nervous about tariffs' potential upward impact on inflation. However, I believe these fears are overblown and will actually create strong buying opportunities.
