This Week’s Market Forecast… 📊

Back to reality this week! After the long holiday season, many are officially returning to work. This week is packed with events, including a major tech conference, earnings reports, and key economic data releases.

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) takes center stage, dominating headlines all week. Industry heavyweights, including NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang and AMD CEO Lisa Su, will be in attendance. Jensen Huang is set to deliver the keynote address on Monday at 9:30 PM EST.

Earnings season kicks off with a few notable releases. Companies like Delta Airlines, Albertsons, and Jefferies Financial are set to report. The pace will pick up significantly next week as financial giants begin releasing their results.

Meanwhile, the stock market will be closed this Thursday to observe the national day of mourning for President Jimmy Carter.

On the economic data front, the JOLTS Job Openings report and ISM Services PMI are due Tuesday, while Wednesday brings the highly anticipated release of the Federal Reserve’s December meeting minutes.

This week will be more of a normal week to markets, however there is another mid week day off. As we head into 2025, I hope you continue to be positive, get invested, and stay optimistic!
